Là où la lumière entre.
La figure émerge de la matière dans un équilibre entre apparition et effacement. Les transferts de pastel, l’eau et l’acrylique se superposent au lin laissé visible, créant des zones où la forme semble tour à tour se préciser et se dissoudre.
Le seuil évoque cet instant fragile où l’on se tient entre ce qui était et ce qui pourrait devenir. La lumière n’y est pas seulement physique : elle suggère une ouverture, un déplacement intérieur, la possibilité d’un changement.
Le seuil habite cet espace de transition — là où quelque chose s’ouvre et où la lumière peut entrer.
Where the light enters.
The figure emerges from the material in a balance between appearance and dissolution. Transfers of pastel, water, and acrylic build upon the exposed linen, creating areas where the form seems to alternately take shape and dissolve.
The threshold evokes that fragile moment of standing between what was and what might become. Light is not merely physical; it suggests an opening, an inner shift, and the possibility of change.
The Threshold inhabits this space of transition — where something opens and light is allowed to enter.
